A few decent performances, and actually putting chances away!

Oh, it was against the team with the second worst goal difference in the Premiership! No wonder they wheeled their bus in front of goal for the second half!

Could have been us feeling sorry for Reading - who really wants to see the Nicest Man In Football getting relegated?!

Good performance from Lady Luck at the moment of Hleb slapping Murty's face. Couldn't see any provocation, but that isn't like Hleb to lash out without someone winding him up.

At least the win gives us confidence!

but we should have scored at least 5 goals: we need a killer touch and a defence as mean as gordon brown and alastair darling mixed together. what a bout the whole 'gallas is my captain..for now' business? and cesc's pledge to stay? and even bertie scored.. weirdness!

  What do you make of the stories about Wenger reviewing Gallas' captaincy at the end of the season? Who would you have to replace him? I say King Kolo, because he has age, strong defensive skills and doesn't mind shouting instructions occasionally!

    It depends on whether he is going to keep gallas as a C/H. I think he needs to go out and spend money on a taller more reliable defender. and I'm not convinced by the idea of kolo as captain - much as i love him. he still makes mistakes and also it might lead to even more of his ridiculous long free kick attempts! Actually the more i think about it the more i feel we lack a credible leader in the team - cesc is too young, flam is too junior (to cesc), i don't like strikers as captains, swiss tony is not sure of his place, eboue is mad, alumina is too blond.. bertie is off, as is jens, walcott too young, rosicky too injured, hleb too sly.. we need an adams, a vieira or a mcclintock. this summer its chequebook time.. three key signings one of whom to be gallas' rival for the captaincy

      Yes. One decent defender. One centre-mid player, as back up for Cesc. And another striker who can be the "Fox in the Box" - especially as Ed is out injured for months!
