I hope no-one underestimated Hull at the start of the match, because frankly, they've been doing well.
As for Arsenal, millions of passes and chances - all in the pursuit of the perfect goal. When are we going to realise that it is more important to score crappy goals?!

Pro i think the players - led (and i use that term loosely) by gallas who was to blame for the second goal - did underestimate Hull. eboue reverted to type as well, after a handful of good games. lots to do on tuesday. at least cambridge won and the spuds are rock bottom and going down (hopefully anyway

The fan's view in today's Observer gave Gallas a 3 out of 10 - can you name anyone else that is suitable captain material?
Pleased that Pompey won, as Sol Campbell and Glen Johnson are in my fantasy team!

Pro its a problem, if billy is dropped he can't be cpt but he's got to defend better. give him till xmas to improve or sell him in january and let dhjourou step up? it wouldn't have mattered if the forwards had done their job
