Perhaps we should tell the first team that the opponents every week are Manure, or put the kids in.

I mean, what the .....?! Aston Vanilla deserved a result, and we were way off.

1. Okay, Almunia saved a penalty. It was a weak pen anyway, and he dived the right way and the ball bounced off him!

2. The referee - Mike "penalty to Manure" Riley - was useless.

3. For Villa's first goal, Sagna is injured after a tackle. Referee allows play to go on, and the cross comes in from Sagna's position. Clichy was unlucky to head it past Almunia, and other defenders (Silvestre and Gallas, where the hell were you?!) should have covered for Sagna.

4. The second goal. Was Carlos fouled just outside the Villa area, but the replays were far too fast and Hansen didn't bother talking about it afterwards. (Thanks, Alan! I can't even make a fair decision on it)

5. Other than that, it was....total crap!
